We have been manufacturing pump castings for over 15 years and have extensive experience in material of hi-chrome white iron. Wear is a complex field and there are numerous types of wear. Like abrasive wear occurs when a hard-rough surface slides across a softer surface. Usually the pump impeller made of iron, steel, bronze, brass, aluminum or plastic. Generally, to reduce abrasive wear you need a harder material, The most common slurry pump castings materials are High Chrome white iron.
We’re able to supply both raw pump castings and finished machined pump parts, also do all of the machining, balancing, testing and inspection and delivery pump parts ready to install accoding to your requests. Pump castings we have been made:
Grey iron is a type of iron with a graphitic microstructure, it has the highest thermal conductivity and high machinability.
Grey iron has low tensile and impact strength but great wear resistance.
Ductile iron is an iron-carbon-silicon alloy, also known as spheroidal graphite cast iron. Due to its unique microstructure, it has good machinability, plasticity, toughness, and higher strength comparing to carbon steel.
Foundryman Tech regularly served industry of Agriculture, Auto Mobile Parts, Valves & Piping, Construction, Oil & Gas, etc.,
We'd love to hear about your project regarding high chrome white iron castings, grey & ductile iron castings and low carbon steel castings etc!
