Heavy and complex shaped castings are Foundryman Tech’s specialties, experienced engineers design processes as per casting’s shape and material characteristic, including risers and feeder’s quantity, location, size and liquid temperature, pouring speed etc.
Materials are optional, including various Cr and Ni content hard materials.
Another critical procedure is heat treating, due to the volume, weight and uneven thickness of the walls, cracks are major problem after heat treatment. Foundryman Tech has our own special methods, by setting up temperature changing according to material inner structure characters to eliminate as much inner force as possible, therefore to reduce cracks and other flaws. Good heat treatment process assures the hardness and stability of inner structure, and casting’s longer service time will come along.
Foundryman Tech is the expertise in casting high wear resistance,abrasion resistant products used in slurry pumps, roll heads, muller tires,augers, coke crusher segments etc.,
as well as for applications requiring more strength and exerting, moderate impacts, such as crusher plates, crusher concaves, and coal pulverizer.
The balls are produced in different dimensions as per the size of pulverizer, The maximum ball size is 1130 mm OD x 150 mm thick or even larger.
The low alloy steel material and foundry technique we designed is to realize the products thus confirm to client’s technical requirement, like microstructure composed with carbide and tempered martensite, the hardness range from 320 to 380 HBS.
