Solid Foundry |OEM Pump parts| White iron castings

Our Solid Foundry is a full-service foundry with in-house engineering, pattern making, heat treatment, CNC machining and quality assurance. The foundry covers an area of 80,000 m² and has an annual output of 10,000 tons of diverse metal castings, primarily produced using resin sand molding.

Our Capabilities

We are capable of producing iron and steel castings ranging in size from 2.5 kg to 26,000 kg. 

  

As an ISO 9001–certified factory, we manufacture ductile iron, grey iron and high chrome white iron castings in full conformity with ASTM, DIN, JIS, BS and other standards, meeting strict tolerance requirements and performance specifications according to customer drawings.

Our Capabilities

To satisfy diverse demands, we not only provide re-engineering services for spare parts and third-party witnessing of production, but also offer wear solutions through critical part redesign and material upgrades. We customize designs and alloys to optimize performance and service life based on working conditions such as media type, abrasion level, particle size (fine or coarse) and other key operating parameters.

What alloys we can pour

Solid Foundry utilizes resin sand, green sand and lost-foam casting techniques to produce parts with smooth surface finishes and consistent, efficient hydraulic performance. Common alloys poured include:

  • Grey iron and ductile iron

               GG15 , GG20, GG25, GG30, GGG50, GGG40

  • High chrome white iron and Ni-hard

              ASTM A532 series

  • Stainless steel and duplex steel

              1.4301, 1.4401, 1.441, X12Cr13 etc

  • Low carbon steel

              ZG200-400/IS0GS-200-400, ZG230-450/IS0GS-230-450, 

              ZG270- 500/IS0GS-270-500

Moulding Equipment:

-One alkaline phenolic resin sand production line

 * 20 t/h movable sand mixer

 * 3 sets of fixed sand mixer

The alkali phenolic resin sand process has the advantages of high dimensional accuracy, smooth surface, clear edges and corners, as well as high production efficiency.

Smelting Equipment:

  • 16T electric arc furnace
  • 16T LF refining furnace
  • 16T vacuum refining furnace
  • 5T Medium frequency furnace
  • Maximum molten steel is 21 tons 

Heat treatment

Heat treatment equipment list

  • 27 sets of heat treatment equipment in total
  • 8 Trolley-type electric resistance furnace, the Maximum Heat treatment workpiece size 6m x5m x2.5m.
  • 4 Pit- type carburizing furnace, the Maximum Heat treatment workpiece size φ1.5m x1.5m.
  • 3 Glow ion nitrogen furnace, the Maximum Heat treatment workpiece size φ1.2m x1.5m.
  • 2 Medium frequency hardening furnace, the Maximum Heat treatment workpiece size φ0.5m x2.5m.
  • 1 High frequency hardening furnace, the Maximum Heat treatment workpiece size φ0.11m x1.2m.
  • 5 Shot blasting machines.

Heat treatment type

  • Heat treatment includes Normalizing, annealing, quenching, tempering, nitrogen case hardening, surface treatment in nitrogen, and surface hardening.
  • Hardening medium includes water, PAG quench liquid, oil, and Alkaline water.
